Here, you can explore the historical monuments, temples, and palaces built during the medieval period in Nepal. It is a fine piece of art, culture, and history. After exploring the artistic beauty of those palaces, temples, and museum, you will be headed to Swayambhunath stupa, a reflection a Buddhist religion at a top of a hill that offers a picturesque view of Kathmandu city as a whole. Next on the sightseeing journey is the ancient and popular Pashupatinath temple. It is a temple of Lord Shiva that holds high value amongst the Hindu pilgrims. We wander around the temple, explore its religious value and head towards Boudhanath stupa. Today, we head towards other UNESCO listed heritage sites around Kathmandu valley. At first, we visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which resembles that of the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Like Kathmandu Durbar Square, it has a grand ancient palace with many temples, monuments and artistic crafts around. The main portion of the palace is transformed into the museum which consists of things of historical importance. It was built in the medieval period of Malla reign. The durbar square as a whole is considered to be a fine piece of art and architecture. After visiting the square, we drive towards Changunarayan, an ancient temple on the top of a hill which in too included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. After exploring the temple, we drive towards Nagarkot through lush landscape. Upon arrival, we check in to the hotel, rest for a while. After lunch, we explore Nagrkot. We can get a view of magnificent mountains from this place on a clear day. We stay at a hotel in Nagarkot for the night.
Nagarkot is considered as a popular viewpoint near Kathmandu. The place offers panoramic views of mountains in Nepal. It is said that, on a clear day, even Mt. Everest is visible from here. We wake up early in the morning for mesmerizing views of sunrise from the view tower in Nagarkot. The golden rays of the sun from the towering ranges of Himalayas look appealing. After relishing the glory of the pristine environment, mountain views of sunrise views from the view tower, we descend down to our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we rest for a while and drive towards Kathmandu. You will be dropped at the hotel in Kathmandu. You can enjoy the rest of the time on your own.
