Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking Route!

With the practicing of yoga twice a day, the Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking route follows from Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikedhunga to Ghorepani to Poonhill to Tadapani to Ghandruk, then return to Nayapul and finally, Pokhara. The route to Poon Hill passes through the green forests filled with pine, bamboo, and rhododendron trees, cascading waterfalls, steep and long stone steps, suspension bridges, up and down terrains, and several unique settlements. Before reaching Poon Hill, you will pass through the famous Gurung settlement of Ghandruk and Ghorepani.  Here, you have the chance of experiencing broad hearted hospitality of the local people and witnessing unique cultural events. Day 1
Arrival day and Evening Yoga (1,300m/4,264ft)

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, one of our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel at Kathmandu where you can take a rest and relax. After hotel check-in, you will be introducing with your Yoga instructor and trekking guide and you will be provided short orientation class about further trek of Ghorepani Poon Hill Yoga trek. In the evening, you can stroll around the Thamel Bazaar with our guide, who will help you in every aspect that you required. Today you will also provide first Yoga session later in the evening if you prefer. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Morning Yoga, Kathmandu sightseeing, Trek preparation and Evening Yoga (1,300m/4,264ft)

In this day, we will begin relaxing Yoga class and have early morning breakfast. Today’s whole day you will visit major World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu with the trekking guide. You will explore the famous Pashupatinath temple, Swayambunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and the royal Kathmandu Durbar Square. In today’s tour, you will explore the rich historical, cultural and religious legacy which is reflected in the many temples, monuments, and artifacts. In the evening, you can be ready for the next day trek. Put essentials things into your backpack and check your insurance details and put medical insurance with you. In the evening, you will also have Yoga session in the hotel at Kathmandu. Have dinner with us and stay overnight in the same hotel

Day 3
: Morning Yoga, Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Evening Yoga (820m/2,690ft)

After morning Yoga, you will have morning breakfast, then you will continue a scenic drive to Pokhara. It takes around 6 to 7 hours to reach the heavenly city Pokhara through our private Tourist Bus. As you reach to the Pokhara hotel, you can take few minutes rest and stroll out to explore paradise city Pokhara with guide. Around one hour, you can enjoy boating in the beautiful Fewa Lake with the majestic views of the Himalayas. You can also have stunning sunset views with panoramic views of the Mountains including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchchhre, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, and countryside. In the evening, again you will have Yoga session in the hotel at Pokhara. Have dinner and stay overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 4
Morning Yoga, Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga and Evening Yoga (1,540m/5,052ft)

Have morning yoga and then have breakfast. After morning breakfast, continue trek ahead with the scenic drive to Nayapul, which is situated at the elevation of the 1,010meters. Around 2 hours’ drive, will take us to the Nayapul and continue trek ahead to Tikhedhunga by following the bank of Modi Khola. We will follow several shops and teahouses along the way and reach t Birretthanti, where you can encounter with the varied ethnic group like Gurung, Thakali, and Magar. Then after the trekking trail will continue following the bank of the Bhurungdi Khola through crossing several villages and continue gradual climbs up the side of the valley to Hille (1,495m). The further short ascend climb will take us to the Tikhedhunga, at the elevation of 1570m. You will do some yoga in the evening and have dinner and stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 5
Morning Yoga, Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani and Evening Yoga (3,194m/10479ft)

Today, early in the morning do some yoga and have breakfast. After breakfast, continue trek towards our destination will be the Ghorepani, which is situated at the elevation of 2874m (9429ft.). During your journey, you will pass the beautiful village of Ulleri which provide you an opportunity to view a stunning snowy peak and then you will continue trek through the Banthanti forest until you will reach to Nangethanti. After Nangethanti you will reach Ghorepani which is located at the center of the rhododendron forest, just below the Poon Hill. From Ghorepani, you can enjoy spectacular view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain peaks and it is also famous for doing Yoga and Meditation. Do yoga and meditation and have dinner. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

Day 6
Morning Yoga, Hike to Poonhill, Trek to Tadapani and Evening Yoga (2,590m/8497ft)

Early in the morning, have some Yoga cases and continue trek around 1 hour upward to the Poon Hill which offers you the best view of sunrise and mountain such as; Annapurna South, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli and Manaslu range. Then you will be back to the Ghorepani and have a breakfast. After breakfast, you will continue your trek passing through the beautiful rhododendron forest, crossing River Bridge and you will reach Tadapani from where you can see wonderful mountain views. In the evening, you will do some Yoga and have dinner. Stay overnight at Tadapani.

Day 7
Morning Yoga, Trek to Ghandruk and Evening Yoga (1,940m/6,364ft)

As morning rise, we will do some Yoga and Meditation, then we will have organic breakfast. After morning breakfast, we will continue trek through the steep descending trail through following the dense forests with magnificent views of the Ghandruk village, where you can encounter with the local Gurung folks. As you reach to Ghandruk, you can have splendid views of the sunrises and golden glow over the mountains is unbelievable. In the evening, you can stroll around the Ghandruk Village and explore the museum and have evening Yoga. Then have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house at Ghandruk.

Day 8
Morning Yoga, trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara and Evening Yoga (820m/2,690ft)

Early in the morning, do some Yoga and Meditation and have breakfast. After breakfast, continue back trek to Nayapul. As you reach to Nayapul, you will take a private vehicle and continue drive to Pokhara by following the beautiful terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, and high hills on the way Around 2 hour’s drive will take you to the beautiful Lake city Pokhara. You can stroll around the Fewa Lake and enjoy boating in the Fewa Lake with the stunning mountains views. Do some Yoga and have dinner and stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.

Day 9
Morning Yoga, Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and Evening Yoga (1,300m/4,264ft)

After the awe-inspiring time on the extraordinary mountains and stunning peaks of Annapurna Himal, you will end your trek and return to Kathmandu with the unforgettable memories of the trek in Nepal. Early morning, you will have an early morning Yoga and continue back drive Kathmandu. You can stroll around the Pokhara with magnificent views of the Himalayas. Later on, you will move from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Around 6 to 7 hours scenic drive will take you to the Kathmandu, the capital city f Nepal. After hotel check-in, you can do some rest in the hotel. In the evening, you can do some rest in the hotel. In the evening, you can do some Yoga and meditation. Have dinner and stay overnight in the same hotel at Kathmandu.

Day 10
Morning Yoga and whole day rest at Kathmandu and evening Yoga.

We will have a morning yoga and meditation and have morning breakfast. Today, you can do whole day rest at Kathmandu hotel or you can do some souvenir shopping in the charming Thamel Bazaar. Or, Either, you desire to visit Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square, it depends on your choices, we can customize your trekking Itinerary according to your wish. In the evening you can do Yoga session and enjoy farewell dinner hosted by us with the fascinating Nepali cultural program. Stay overnight in the same hotel.

Day 11
Departure day with morning yoga

Now finally it is the last day at Nepal for this vacation. It is time to say goodbye and one of our representatives will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport from where you will take a flight back to your home keeping all the experiences in Nepal. You will be drop before 3 hours of your flight schedule. We wish you a safe flight and hope we will meet very soon.
